Jaime Grutzendler on imaging neurodegeneration
On 6 August, DQBM welcomed Jaime Grutzendler, Professor of Neurology and Neuroscience at Yale University and current visiting professor in collaboration with the Krauthammer Lab. His seminar, Uncovering Cellular Mechanisms of Neurodegeneration One Image at a Time, explored how advanced imaging techniques can reveal dynamic processes underlying neurodegenerative diseases.
Professor Grutzendler discussed innovative microscopy approaches that capture cellular changes in real time, offering new perspectives on disease progression and potential therapeutic strategies.
