The Department of Quantitative Biomedicine connects research and teaching across medicine, biology, and data science. It currently includes two computational research groups (Krauthammer and Menze) based at Schmelzbergstrasse near the central university campus, and five wet-lab groups (Bodenmiller, Boyman, Joller, Kümmerli, and Polymenidou) located at Irchel Campus.
