Magdalini Polymenidou elected EMBO Member
Magdalini Polymenidou, Professor at the Department of Quantitative Biomedicine, University of Zurich, has been elected to the European Molecular Biology Organization (EMBO) Membership. This honour is awarded to life scientists who have made exceptional contributions to research, and it provides access to a collaborative network of over 2,000 leading scientists.
Her lab focuses on understanding the molecular mechanisms of RNA-binding proteins in neurodegenerative diseases, with the goal of advancing diagnostics and therapies. EMBO Membership recognises both her scientific achievements and her commitment to mentoring the next generation of researchers.
